Welcome to the 100-Acre Woods!

Come follow me as journey through the 100-Acre Woods to visit Pooh and his friends.

At each stop we will play a fun game.  But, we have to watch out for those Woozles and

Heffalumps, they have hidden one of Pooh's Hunny Pots and we need to find it.

This party can be done outdoors or indoors (large room or basement).

Other Decor Ideas

Use this playful Pooh partyware including table cover or use a solid yellow table cover.

Use a stuff animal Pooh with a balloon tied to it for a centerpiece. Or if you're crafty try making your own Honey Pot centerpiece.

Directions: Paint a ribbed terra cotta pot yellow, turn upside down to look like a beehive, glue on small wooden bees and the tie balloons through the bottom hole for a buzzing centerpiece!

Transform your party room into Pooh Land or 100 Acre Woods.

Or add just Pooh characters to your wall and use artificial trees and plants to give it a woodsy look.

Welcome to the 100-Acre Woods. Come follow us today as we journey along through the 100-Acre Woods to visit Pooh and his friends and perhaps taste some honey too! .....Watch out for those Woozles and Heffalumps, they have hidden one of Pooh's Hunny Pots.

Have your story take you to visit each of Pooh's friends and stop to play a fun game. Party photos below.

Create games for various characters in the Pooh Stories.   For example, blow up a picture of Eeyore , laminate it and create fun tails from foam craft or paper. Play Pin the Tail on Eeyore , because we all know how he keeps losing his tail. See my party photo below.

Hide The Hunny

Sing-a-long -100 Acre Woods Song Lyrics
You will need a Bee Hand Puppet for this game.  One child is selected to wear the Bee Puppet and tries to sting the other guests (similar to tag).   If you get stung you have to sit down. Last person standing gets to be the next Bee or is the winner.Hide the Honey from the Heffalumps - One child is Pooh, and all the others are Heffalumps. The Heffalumps turn their backs and hide their heads in their trunks-that is, under their arms. Meanwhile, Pooh searches the yard or house for a good hiding place. When he's ready, he yells, "Oh, bother. I'm all out of honey." The Heffalumps search for the honey. The one who finds it wins or gets to be Pooh and hide it again.  Gather the kids to sing along with some of the songs from the enchanted 100 Acre Woods.

Hunny Bags

Hunny Pots

Hunny Sacks

Use brown paper lunch sacks. Roll down the tops to look like honey pots. Decorate with Bee Stickers. Write each child's name on the bag like this: "Megan's Hunny". Fill with Pooh Party Favors.

Using small terra cotta pots, decorate with stickers, glue on wood miniature bees, paint the pots (great craft activity for the party) or use markers to decorate. Make sure you put the child's name on it like:  "Megan's Hunny".

Using a 12" x !2" fabric square  of Pooh Material or bandanas, place party favors in the center. Pull ends up and secure with a rubber band or twist tie.  Add a raffia bow with a slip to add a stick or small dowel for kids to carry.

Pooh Sticks

1 (8 ounce) Cheez Whiz ©

Wax Paper needed

25-30 pretzel sticks

With an adult's help, melt the processed cheese spread in the microwave oven or on top the stove, according to directions on the jar.  Allow the cheese to cool slightly in the jar.  Dip and twist the tip of each pretzel stick into the cheese, lift out, wait twenty seconds, and then dip again. Set pretzels down onto a sheet of waxed paper. If the cheese in the jar begins to stiffen, simply reheat it.  Allow finished Pooh sticks to cool at room temperature for ten minutes, and arrange on a serving platter.

Follow popular crisped rice treats recipe with one exception: mix red and yellow food coloring to marshmallows to obtain Tigger's orange color. After the treats cool drizzle chocolate syrup "stripes" over tops then freeze overnight.

½ c. Sweet lemonade mix
4 c. Water
2/3 c. Cranberry juice
1 ½ c. Lemon lime soda
