Oscar ® Trivia
Pre-party planning is needed for this. You must research and decide on what trivia to ask. There are three ways to play.
Game One - Split your guests into two or three teams or couple teams. Go round robin and give each team a trivia question to guess. Each round can be worth a set number of points. The team with the most points after the final round wins. Have a tie breaker question ready in case of a tie.
Game Two - Preprint a set of trivia questions for all guest to answer. Have guest fill out form and return. During the Oscars commercials, give out the answers to each trivia question. The guest with the most correct answers wins a prize. Have a tie breaker question ready in case of a tie.
Game Three- During commercial breaks ask a trivia question out loud to the crowd, first to answer correctly wins a prize!

Guess The Celebrity
Prior to the event, cut out picture of stars in clothing (preferably gowns or suits) from magazines, but cut from the neck down. Paste each photo on a 8.5 x 11 colored poster board and number each photo. Create a small form for guest labeled 1-10 or for however many photos you were able to get. Have guest guess which actor or actress is depicted in the the outfit. When there is a commercial break in the Oscars, reveal the stars and see which guest got the most right. Reward them with a Statute Trophy or other fun party favor. |
