Not
only will guest want to see your lovely yard, but the inside of your home
too! Set up a Look and Find. Give each guest a list of things that they
need to find around your home or yard. You can give group tours or allow them to
tour on their own. Provide pencils and papers and ask that they write down
which room the item was found in or where in the yard the item was
found. Let them know all items in the house are viewable, not
hidden in closets or drawers. All of those who think they are right can
put their name on their paper and put it in a box set aside
somewhere. When the group is eating you can go over them out loud and see
who the winners are! Have small gifts for the winners, like small
bottles of barbeque sauce.

This
is team game to see who can make a burger the fastest without using their
hands.
Set
up a starting line and about 15 feet away set up a table. Divide the table
down the middle with a piece of tape. Each team will have a side of the
table. On each side, you will place an empty plate,
a
paper plate with a hamburger on it, a paper plate with buns, a squeeze
bottle of ketchup, a squeeze bottle of mustard,
a
paper plate for each one of these items: piece of lettuce, tomato slice, 2
slices of pickles.
The
object is for each team to build a hamburger on the empty plate without
using their hands. The burger must be on the bun with ketchup, mustard,
lettuce, tomato and pickles and topped off with the top of the
bun.
There
needs to be seven players on a team (or team players continue playing
until objective is reached). Each player is responsible for a
piece of the burger. The first team member runs to the table and
places the bottom bun on the empty plate, then runs back to the start line
and the next player goes up and puts the burger on the bun and so on.....
The
hard part is they must hold their hands behind their back and not use
them. They can use their mouth, nose and chin. As an option - you
can provide a small plastic fork for each team to use in their mouth
to pick things up.
