Opening Activity: Your guest should be greeted upon arriving by a Recruitment Officer (Mom or Dad) for sign in. At the sign-in table, they are assigned personalized dog tags, personalized canteen water bottle (pre-filled with water) and a company name (Alpha, Bravo, Echo, etc.) team wristband. Use colored wristbands to differentiate companies.

Boot Camp Activities

Drill Sergeant Says

Start off the party with a warm-up by playing "Drill Sergeant Says."

Have kids do pushups, sit-ups, toe touches, squat thrust, jumping jacks and more.

See which new recruits can make it through by following orders! Award those with a star sticker who made it.

Team Relays

Test their ability to work as a team. Set up a start and end line and separate guest into teams.

Balancing

Use a 6 ft piece of wood as a makeshift balance beam. Depending on age of kids, you may want to raise it with bricks a few inches.

Have kids walk across without falling.

Obstacle Course

These obstacles are sure to delight your kids.

-Crawling under lawn chairs, picnic table or other items that allow room to crawl under.

-Walking with a ball or balloon between your knees.

Wounded Comrade

Split into teams. Each team selects one member to be the wounded comrade.

Each team is given a roll of toilet paper. A timer is set for 1 or 2 minutes. Each team must wrap up their comrade as fast as they can. The team who used up the most toilet paper ( compare roll size) after the time is up wins!

Instead of a timer, first team to finish their roll of toilet paper and has their player wrapped up wins.

Scavenger Hunt

Send each team on a secret mission to find objects. First team to find all their items wins!

To close your party hold a Boot Camp Graduation Ceremony, and give each recruit a Boot Camp Certificate and take home party favors.
