Use a fun poster board, like the one shown in the party photo below to list the Krusty Krab Party Menu.

The lunch menu can include :

Krabby Patties (hamburgers)

Coral Fries (used the new fun frozen flavored cut fries)

Squid Salad (macaroni salad)

Ocean Blue Breeze (any blue Kool-Aid or Fruit Drink)

Create an area to open gifts. Use the Special - One SpongeBob Thumbs Up Chair and One SpongeBob/Patrick Chair  for the birthday child to sit in. Use a crate decorated with netting and a tissue lobster or crabs for a Krab Crate Gift Box! See photo below.

Check out our Scene Setters to create an indoor underwater scene. The Coral reef scene is great for the SpongeBob Theme and makes a great picture backdrop.  Don't forget the sticky tack.

GAME IDEAS

Krabby Patty Toss

Jelly Fish Relay Race

Pin the .... on SpongeBob

Use a Poster of SpongeBob. Glue it to a large piece of cardboard. Cut out the mouth. Then using laminating paper rolls, laminate the poster (cutting out the mouth area again).  I set it up on our slide and set out a bucket of water. The boys had to soak a sponge and try to get it through SpongeBob's mouth.  Older kids like this one, they get wet and like to throw!  See party photo below.

For an indoor party, use dry sponges or plastic hamburgers (kids play food).

SpongeBob and Patrick's Favorite game is catching jellyfish. Use two sets of this game to create a Jelly Fish relay race. Each team gets two paddles and one jellyfish. You can also wet the jelly fish for more fun!  Separate into two teams. Set up a start and turn around line. Each team player must bounce the jelly fish up to the turn around line and then head back to the start line. They then pass off the jelly fish and paddle to the next team player. Each team can use two paddles, to make it go faster.

SpongeBob Jellyfish Soak 'N' Splash

Another version of this is shown in the party photo below. We used Koosh paddles that we already had and sponges. Each child had to dump the sponge before he started his turn.

Use any poster of SpongeBob and make it into a "Pin the ..." on SpongeBob. You can make any of these games:

Pin the Tie on SBSP

Pin the Pants on SBSP

SpongeBob Trivia  Who Am I  Star Fish Find
Split your guest in to two or three teams.  Create 10 to 15 Trivia question based on the Bios link found under "More Fun Links" below.  Create questions worth points like 25, 50, 100, 250 and 500.  Give each team a question at each level. The team with the most points at the end wins. In case of a tie, have a tie breaker question and let each team assign how many points they want to chance on it ( before they are asked the question - just like the Jeopardy Game Show). Award the team players with a prize!  Or each team with shells decorated with 1st Place, 2nd Place and 3rd Place on them!    This is a great opening game for a party.  Prior to the party print off pictures of the Characters in the SBSP TV show.  To start the game, have guest line up, including the Birthday child. Tape a picture of a SBSP character to their back. Each player must walk around and ask other players a question about who they are, but the question must be a question in which only "Yes" or "No" can be the answer.  The first person who thinks he knows who he is can come to the adult of the party to find out if they are right.  You can give out prizes for the first, for everyone who guesses or just eliminate the reward and have fun playing!

Here is an example: The picture on my back is of "Mr. Krabs".  Here are some questions I can ask:

1. Do I live in a Pineapple under the sea?   Answer is No.

2. Do I like to catch jelly fish? Answer is No.

3. Do I own a restaurant?  Answer is Yes.

My tip: Don't use SBSP, too easy to guess.   Use this Character Bios link under "More Fun Links" for photos.

Hide these 3" colorful starfish around the party room or if having a swim party throw some in the pool for the kids to swim and find.

Make it team effort and give one of these colorful buckets to each team to collect their starfish.
